CES Quilt Guild

Welcome to the Chattahoochee Evening Stars!

Welcome to the Chattahoochee Evening Stars Quilt Guild! We meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00 at the Alpharetta Activity Center on Cogburn Road.

Currently we are meeting by Zoom. This format has not slowed us down! We continue to have outstanding speakers, sewing bees, guild challenges, educational session, support community projects and wonderful member discussions. Take some time and explore our website. Contact our membership chair, listed on the Membership Tab, for a meeting login.

Some facts about our Guild:

  • We are 50 members strong and growing
  • We made 2085 masks, 44 scrub hats, 346 pillowcases, 130 dog beds, and 29 quilts this year, supporting local charities
  • Unfortunately, we did not get to make turbans this year because of the pandemic.
  • We have nationally recognized monthly speakers and workshops
  • Zoom is allowing many members to attend meetings, that couldn’t attend before
  • Our monthly newsletter showcases new skills, details our upcoming programs and events and gives membership recognition

We hope to see you there!

The guild was founded in 1997 and meets on the first Monday of each month.  Benefits of membership include monthly speakers – local and nationally known experts who share their methods and techniques – including workshops.  Members also enjoy quilt retreats, bee groups, an annual challenge and community service projects.

Come join us to share our motto of

LAFF - Laughter, Acknowledgement, Fun and Friendship

Guest Policy: We encourage members to bring guests that have an interest in quilting. If you have a guest that would like to attend, there is a $5.00 charge when we have a speaker, otherwise they are allowed two free visits. After that they would be expected to join the guild.
