Our dues are $50 annually, prorated quarterly if you join later in the year.

Why I joined a quilt guild

Soon after I moved to the Atlanta area, I attended a quilt show presented by CES. That show inspired me to join CES, though I had never previously been a member of a formal quilt guild. From day one I felt warmly welcomed into the group. Knowing no one in the Atlanta area, CES was my first introduction to the strong quilting community that exists in Atlanta, and the friendly and talented people who live here. What I’ve learned over the last 4 years from fellow members and guest speakers can’t even be counted – not only about quilting but about stores and restaurants and vacation destinations in and around Atlanta. I can’t overestimate the impact CES has had on me after a cross-country move.

I joined the quilt guild because I was new to Georgia and I was looking for a way to connect with other quilters and resources.

I was looking for a group that shared my love of quilting and found it with this local group. Being a member has inspired me to be more bold with my own quilt creations, the workshops have given me a better grasp of techniques that I would not have tried on my own, and you could not ask for a better group of people so willing to share their knowledge as well as the friendships that form sharing time and ideas with like-minded people.
